Festive Films

The Christmas movies are my favourite part of the festivities, its the only time I sit down to watch films.  I love to snuggle under a blanket with a box of match makers and chocolate fingers (sometimes both) and have a jammy (pj) day.

This will be happening at TBF HQ next weekend - this weekend is pandemonium (more on that later)  I have yet to switch over to Sky Christmas, my tree isn't up yet, I feel so disorganised this year and I don't like it!
My sister bought me the Harry Potter Box Set last year, it's still in the wrapper, I plan a Harry Potter PJ day over the holidays too!  I've seen the first 2 but never watched the others on TV as I hadn't seen the 3rd.  I'm freaky that way!

My top 5 festive films are -

5
Miracle on 34th Street
Dreams do come true at Christmas for little 6 year old Susan, her mother tells her a "secret" about Santa but after writing her Christmas list she receives a precious Christmas Gift.

4
The Grinch
What's not to love about The Grinch, who wouldn't like to live in Wholville!! The Grinch (Jim Carey) and his poor beloved side kick Max set out to ruin Christmas but has a change of heart when he befriends little Cindy Lou Who!

3
Elf
Just wouldn't be Christmas with Elf!
"The best way to spread Christmas cheer, is singing loud for all to hear" Enough said!

Its a Wonderful Life

Some movies are made only for black & white, this is one of them.   I refuse to watch this in colour.  "Every time a bell rings an angel gets his wings"  When George Bailey feels like he can't go on and visit from Clarence his guardian angel shows him life without George.  A weepy that pulls on the heart strings

Love Actually
My all time favourite Christmas film, I laugh, I cry, I could play a part.  Its all about the love..............

What's your favourite Christmas movie? x
