Vodafone London Fashion Weekend 2013
Somerset House, Thursday 19 th Sept
Straight off the Easyjet 6.30 am Glasgow to Stansted onto the Express to Liverpool Street Station, I hot-footed the 3 mile walk (in heels) to the venue. Stopping at Pret-a-Manger for a late breakfast.
A newbie to London I was fascinated by the crowds and iconic buildings, like St Paul's Cathedral.
I strolled along Fleet Street to the Strand and in to the "Oh so Beautiful" Somerset House.  I was early but not alone, there was already a queue forming so I joined on and began chatting with other bloggers and fashion lovers!
Goody bag in hand I made my way to the catwalk, I wanted a good seat!
TV Presenter, Stylist and now Fashion Week presenter Angela Scanlon geared up the crowd ready for the first walk.
This season's catwalk featured rising Indian designer "Ashish" as well as a medley of designs on themes as complied by stylist "Pandora Lennard".
The first category was Pretty in Pink which is pretty much self explanatory!! Blush, baby, shocking pinks...
Back to Nature was my favourite, earthy tones, brilliant textures, furs, feathers and scarf's.  I was so wrapped up in this, I forgot to take photographs!  This was my favourite outfit a playsuit, button down the front, the hat with the feather just set it off I was sold, Love a good hat! A bit gutted I never got the front of the outfit but I was in Awe!
Shape Up the third category was bold, a colour mash up of prints.  More high fashion than trend but great to see.
The final category, Victoriana features a lot of black & cream - Damask and lace, probably the most tailored.
The finally ~ the models came round the catwalk applauding the designers and staff, I honestly didn't want to leave!
I know will return year after year!!
